Description: CTA-STAR is an object with a 1.5 meters long handle, a star-shaped blade at the end, and a shorter additional handle near the blade. The object is painted in a pastel palette of pink, blue, and yellow, and has a button. CTA-STAR’s anomalous ability only works if Dr. Josh Balwin activates it, as all attempts to activate CTA-STAR without the researcher have failed.
Upon activation, the blade starts spinning and can cut any objects regardless of the materials said object is made of, and will not damage the blade.
Addendum: Discovery
On 2/11/2009, Facility-23’s security system spotted an unidentified individual delivering a package at the facility’s back entrance before leaving. The investigating personnel uncovers CTA-STAR and a note inside. It read as follows:
Good morning, Josh. It's been a while since we talked.
First off, I'm sorry for the outburst, it was unacceptable and unnecessary. It was a long time ago sure, but that doesn't mean I didn't left a bad taste in your mouth. Honestly, I don't know how to make it up for it but I sent you the wand. There's not much magic left since it collected dust, so you may take this as an indicator that I become a more responsible person than before.
If that apology doesn't work for you, then I guess this is it then. You can study the wand as much as you want and eventually you'll throw it in the trash, I don't care what you do with it, this is my final message to you anyway.
